Share A Blessing Project 2014
By: MYFC Roxas Branch

Giving is one way of sharing happiness to others. It is not measured by the things we give, not on the cost of the things we have given and it is not on the size you have given as a present. It is the happiness that we give that matters the most.

Last December 21, 2014, MYFC Roxas had a Share-A-Blessings Program at Barangay Lawa-an Sitio Nursery, Roxas City, Capiz. The activity was facilitated by the MYFC Roxas branch and EAYF scholars. After the devastation of the super typhoon Yolanda that hit in the province of Capiz, this is the first year that the branch had given the opportunities to make a program such as this. It has fifty (50) selected children beneficiaries, ages from 6 to 12 years old. The program started with a prayer lead by the one of the staffs and was followed by giving of the short message and a brief introduction about the company and the Ernesto Asay Yu Foundation to the parents and children.

The children had enjoyed the games that were prepared. And most of them were very energetic and participative in every game we provided. The program turned out great because of the special dance presentation given by the MYFC staff. After tiring yet enjoyable games, the snacks and the giveaways which contain hygiene kits and toys were given.

With this, even in a short hour shared, everybody witnessed the joy and excitement of every child to open their gifts. Their eyes were full of happiness and appreciation to the simple things we had shared. By giving people the power to share, we’re making the world more transparent.
